  6. Admin says:

I’m not sure if you can use flex seal on the hole in your vinyl pool. It does say you can use it on regular water pressure situations. So I would think that if the hole is small you could use Flex Seal. It’s worth a try, even if it doesn’t work it’s good to have a can of Flex seal around the house for all the other things you can use it for.

Another idea would be to spend $3 on a vinyl repair or tire repair kit that has a larger piece of rubber or vinyl and you could attach it using flex seal and then use flex seal to spray over the hole in your pool. That way you will have extra layers of protection and the fix would be more permanent.

Also, if you used flex seal you could paint it to match the pool color.

Is it appropriate and safe to use Flex Seal on our family hot tub?

  8. shannon says:

I have a hot tub on the roof of my house. It is poured concrete. I had it tiled and it leaked. removed the tile and fiberglassed it and it still leaks into my bedroom when full. Ab this moment it has about 1′ water and is not leaking. Will flx steel work to seal my leaks? Also can it be transported on a plane? I live in Honduras, CA.

  9. Admin says:

I know you can’t ship flex seal via air services using fedex or ups. I would check with each airlines website to see if you can bring aerosol spray rubber.

Flex seal will create a waterproof seal if it’s applied correctly. You will probably need several cans of flex seal to seal something the size of a hot tub. Make sure you use several thin layers and tape off anywhere you don’t want to get spray rubber. Make sure you let it dry and cure for a day or two depending on your weather.
